Vintage Design

Saraband carpet, woven in the mountainous region of Sar-e band located south of the Shahrestān of Arāk and east of Borujerd. Richly composed of boteh miri patterns with a central diamond medallion and four spandrels repeating the boteh pattern in pure virgin wool and natural dyes. The ornamentation of this piece of great finesse is surrounded by a delicate border of sinuous lines and zoomorphic motifs, a symbol of eternity and continuity. Timeless, it will bring a colorful and warm ethnic touch to both a contemporary and classic interior.
