A pair of ovals of extraordinary refinement and grace: these 18th century works by Bartolozzi - Morris have acquired a splendid antique patina over time which increases their charm, together with their splendid oval frames with love knot. Ready to elegantly enrich any environment.

Engravers: (figures) Francesco Bartolozzi, born in Florence in 1727, died in Lisbon in 1815, among the most famous and appreciated Italian engravers, successfully interpreted the various carving methods: etching, burin, dotted manner. A student of Wagner in Venice, he then moved to London where he found international success and became the owner of his own workshop.
(landscape) Thomas Morris, English engraver born around 1750 and died around 1811. A pupil of Woollett, he worked for Boydell and is mainly known for his landscapes
