Mid century, Scandinavian storage cabinet edited by kempkes (1906/1971 Netherland)from the 60's, made of wood with a teak veneer finish. The piece is part of the ''formula'' line (see photo). The front of the unit has 1 door. Inside there is a shelf,( dimension 58x40). Front of the piece has 1 magnificent handle typical of the period.
The piece is in very good and vintage condition, with some traces and signs of use on the top (see photo, next to the 1 centime coin for the perspective), the side panels, tiny piece of veneer on the side and 'rear left of the top are missing (see photo). Superb patina of time. It has been gently cleaned to preserve its original appearance as much as possible. There are 2 brass screws on each side of the panels because the piece could be attached to other modules ( note: one screw at the left rear was not present.). Another piece from the same provenance is for sale on the site. The piece is not only Scandinavian in style or shape, it was made in Finland, we couldn't really be more Scandinavian! Editor's label present (see photo). Very practical piece, perfect for a bedroom, hallway, living room or other.
