Vintage Design

Shapes and forms have consistently been a focal point in the work of the designer duo Afra and Tobia Scarpa. The Monk chairs, crafted in 1973 for Molteni, distinguish themselves in a time dominated by plastics, thanks to their robust Italian walnut construction and luxurious leather accents. One of the chairs is missing a screw, but this does not affect its functionality or the overall integrity of the set. This set of four chairs is in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of age and usage on the surfaces, along with a small crack on one leg and the decorative black plastic cup.
