Beautiful sideboard designed by Vittorio, Alessandro and Plinio Dassi and produced in Lissone by Dassi, Italy 1953. This wonderful sideboard is both refined and elegant in every way. It is characterized by an unusual sculptural shape. The elegant V-shaped frame is made of dark ebonized wood and the casing is executed in rosewood. Equipped with multiple drawers and a spacious cabinet, it offers ample storage, each section showcasing meticulous craftsmanship, including dovetail joints that emphasize both beauty and durability. The glass top serves as a protective layer and adds a modern touch, enhancing the rich textures of the rosewood and white marble. This sideboard is collectable, functional and elegant, it would enhance any style of interiors adding a chic touch. It is still in very good original condition. A real nice catch for any modern home, living room or interior. Vittorio Dassi has been one of the most important Italian designers and manufacturers of the Italian Mid-Century Modern period, all his items are very stylish and charming, always well designed and finished with valuable materials. Dassi Mobili Moderni has been also the main cabinetmaker choosen by Gio Ponti.
