A Giancarlo Piretti "Sistema 61" modular sofa for Anonima Castelli, manufactured in Italy during the 1970s.

Reupholstered in Pierre Frey long mohair 'Teddy' fabric.

Consisting of 3 seating sections, 5 backrests/arms and one corner post which can be arranged in a number of different ways. Each section is linked with an independent steel component (13x) which are not visible but allows flexibility when arranging.

Bringing an iconic design together with this luxury fabric elevates the piece to a level where it is a feature within any setting.

Condition: In very good condition. A couple of chips to the plastic frame on the underside, not visible. Entirely new Pierre Frey fabric, as the pile is 100% mohair there are odd dark strands that are noticeable in the fabric if you look close enough. 13 connecting steel components some show signs of corrosion, not visible.
