Modeled through the coil or plate techniques, her unique works, which can also be produced in series remains one of a kind, explore the tension between opposites that combine to create a strong and sensitive work. Her inøuences are many, ranging from the very graphic work of the couple Bernd and Hilla Becher to the brutalist architecture characterized by the use of raw materials. Her pieces are worked like sculptures, revealing the grain, the material, the rough texture, the traces of her hands’ gestures, and the slow and fast work with the clay. Even if patterns sometimes appear, dots or stripes are essentially her signature. She has been developing for several years a work on the basket by interpreting it in a very organic way. Works emerge from this long and thoughtful process, where all these ambivalences önd their accuracy to create a vibrant, living work.
