Online auction house Paddle 8 launches the MOSS collection

MOSS for Sale

This week, online auction house Paddle 8 debuted a world-class collection from the archives of design icons Murray Moss and Franklin Getchell, the pair behind the iconic SoHo gallery MOSS. Though the gallery shut its doors a few years ago (after a remarkable 18 years), the new sale gives design lovers a unique opportunity to collect from a truly exceptional private collection. The sale features both contemporary and historic works, including pieces by the likes of Maarten Baas, the Campana Brothers, Gaetano Pesce, Hella Jongerius, Marcel Wanders, Martin Margiela, and Studio Job, as well as Adolf Loos, Josef Hoffmann, Lobmeyr, and many others.

The sale is live now through September 9th at Paddle 8, and accompanied by a lovely profile of the two design experts by Paddle 8 associate editor Rebecca Bates. We've gathered a few highlight pieces below to whet your design appetite.
