Opening tonight in Paris, SPOT is a collaboration between Milan-based galleries Galleria Nilufar and Giò Marconi Gallery, and Paris-based gallery Balice Hertling, under the art direction of Nina Yashar.
Filling 15 rooms of the historic Hôtel de Miramion, a 16th century Hôtel Particulier, SPOT promises to be an artistic meeting of contemporary and historic design. Each of the three galleries will be showing a selection of their artists most original works, from furniture to lighting, paintings to video installations, as well as Galleria Nilufar's presentation of Shigeru Ban’s “Tea House”, an indoor space, composed of square paper tubes, and Patricia Urquiola's design for the set of an entire room, specially commissioned for this event.
SPOT runs from October 22nd to November 12th, 2013, Tuesday-Sunday: 12pm-7pm, at Hôtel de Miramion, 47 Quai de la Tournelle, Paris.
