Antique Japanese ikebana vase from the Meiji period (1868-1912)

Dimensions: Height 41 cm, Diameter 25 cm. In perfect condition.

The vase features a sturdy, bulbous base with an elegant, narrow neck, ideal for the Japanese art of flower arranging (ikebana).

Its surface is adorned with a traditional blue-and-white (sometsuke) underglaze decoration, consisting of stylized floral motifs and dynamic brushstrokes. The subtle green lines running around the body of the vase enhance the refined design.

The natural clay texture with speckles and slight irregularities adds to the authentic charm of this timeless piece.
