Beautiful Swedish Art Deco cabinet attributed to the designer Otto Schulz. The cabinet is veneered with ebonized birch, flamed birch and maccasar wood. In the middle of the front there is a round nickel-plated metal fitting and rounded off with a flamed birch veneer.The interior consists of six drawers and 4 shelves. (One of the shelves was replaced earlier, but looks quite similar to the three originals). The drawers are joined by a dovetail tenon, which represents quality craftsmanship. The bolt fittings for closing the doors are marked by the Swedish manufacturer August Stenman (ASAS). On the top inner horizontal frame the cabinet is stamped '3 3' which most likely represents the year of manufacture.The cabinet is in good restored condition with a shellac finish.
