About This Piece

Vintage Design

Swedish antique Mora clock in the Fryksdall school finished in White paint with gold edge detailing. This unusual Mora clock has interesting scrollwork at the neck with a ribbon motif in the centre. It stands 207cm tall approx and has a slender profile with a good face surmounted by a small crown. The clock body paint has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age. the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - please note - wood is a live substance and may change shape when it moves to a new environment with a different median temperature and humidity after shipping. This may cause splits to occur in panels after the clock has grown accustomed to its new home
