This heavy and unique table lamp was designed by Rob Eckhardt for a former president of a bank in Utrecht. The design shows the early work of Rob Eckhardt in which he worked with copper and designs with whimsical forms. The copper lampshade can also be adjusted, by a ball/socket joint, into different positions. The lamp looks like a 'parachute' landing in the frame while the spears give the impression it wants to 'take off'.
