About This Piece

Vintage Design

A refined and elegant pair of lenticular/disc-shaped table lamps, produced in Italy in the 1970s and attributed to the renowned Leucos manufacturer.

Handcrafted according to the master glassmakers of Murano, the lamps feature an exceptionally crafted blown diffuser: the upper cap is made of opaque white milky glass that gradually fades into the clear glass of the lower part. The junction is embellished with thin, vibrant red and amber/green bands, creating a charming ring-like color contrast.

The diffuser rests on a circular base in chromed/silvered metal supported by three spherical feet in gold-plated metal. Inside, a second cased glass cup conceals the light source, ensuring a soft, enveloping, and glare-free light.

The glass is intact, with no streaks, cracks, or chips. Minimal, natural signs of aging on the metal bases. Electrical system working with braided textile cables.
