About This Piece

Vintage Design

Tall, long neck blue carafe with intentional bubbles stretched through the glass. Made by artisans in Biot, France, a medieval village renowed for its glass and ceramic manufacturing. It has a square base with round concave insets on each side and Biot's signature round glass stopper. The colour is a translucent blue, with a touch of violet - very few Biot pieces were made in this colour. The bubbles create an intriguing effect.
