Armchair ''tappeto Volante'' (or Flying Carpet) by Ettore Sottsass Circa 1972 Bedding Brevetti edition Sottsass invents here a new type of seat: thanks to the metaphor of the flying carpet, it invites to a literally extraordinary journey. The different elements (base, armrests, seat, backrest) are clearly distinguished by shapes, textures or colours. Very rare armchair in perfect condition. Wood, polyurethane and velvet H 68.5 x D 107 x W 183 cm.
