About This Piece

Vintage Design

Italian hand-carved alabaster tazza dating from the 19th century. Perfect as a centerpiece or as an ornament, this tazza has a decoration of vine leaves resting on an intertwined dolphin pedestal and a scalloped base. Finely crafted, it embodies the classic elegance and artistic refinement of this era. The alabaster itself gives the tazza a luminous, translucent quality, allowing light to partially pass through the stone and thus creating subtle plays of light and shadow on the carved surfaces.
