This delightful table and chair set produced by British furniture manufacturing company G-Plan in the mid-twentieth-century G Plan - E. Gomme Ltd based in High Wycombe, England, a major centre of British furniture manufacturing. The company was revered for its range of high-quality sideboards, tables, and other cabinet goods and for pioneering the concept of dining room sets, designed and made to match. The beautiful teak round table extends with a central 'butterfly leaf' that neatly tucked away under the two main leaves when not in use. The popular design space-saving chairs tuck tidily under the stunning round table. The chairs have their original black faux-leather upholstery and are in fabulous condition. The set has a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colours throughout. We have carefully stripped the tabletop and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish. Each of the dining chairs has been cleaned and re-polished and are in fabulous condition. We try to capture the condition of the peace in our photographs as best possible.
