A pair of G-Plan teak ‘Tulip’ lounger armchairs, designed by K.M. Wilkins, reupholstered in bouclé wool. Circa 1970.

These superbly comfy loungers are getting harder to source. The chairs show great bent-ply design with contrasting chromed metal roundels. Veneered in figured teak, with chromed magnum orbit castors.

The chairs have been completely reupholstered, with re-webbed bases, new foam cushions and arms, and finally being re-covered in a quality pale grey / off-white bouclé wool by Spruce London (which is 98% wool). The chairs comply with fire regulations.

There are a few marks to the frames to note, please refer to photographs. One of the chrome-plated castors has some chrome loss. The loungers have no maker's mark, but there are design records for these chairs.
