Storage containers made of birch bark are antibacterial, insulating, moisture-repellent, light and keep food stored in them fresh for a particularly long time, are extremely durable and easy to clean. In contrast to traditional products, these are made from the lighter, velvety outer surface or the intermediate layers of birch bark. Contrasting materials, colours and textures are combined to develop a new language of form. This allows the natural beauty of the material with its graphic grain to be shown to its best advantage.

The soft surface of birch bark is not only an eye-catcher in the kitchen, bathroom or wherever you use it, but will also give you pleasure for a long time. The material is extremely durable and requires almost no maintenance. Because of the essential oils, it has a very dense surface, which makes it insulating as well as dirt and water repellent. Even a location next to the cooker top or sink can't harm it!

Simply wipe it with the soft side of a damp sponge (and possibly some mild washing-up liquid) - that's all it needs. If microorganisms have formed, you can clean the surface with vinegar. Even when wet, the Tuesa tins guarantee a non-slip warm surface and a secure grip. It is important to let the jars dry out well before the next use so that no moisture can form.
