About This Piece

Satirical Scene is an original modern artwork realized by an Italian artist in the first half of the XX Century. Original black china ink on cardboard. The work is decorated in pencil and black pen also on the back. Good condition. Interesting Italian satirical scene realized in Black China ink in a cartoon style depicting two standing men, probably two gendarmes. The two figures have a bizarre and menacing appearance and, in the center of the composition, we see only the feet of a figure and a small basket with a cross on the right side. One of the two figures is from behind and is facing a window. The style is fresh and the touch is rapid and smart.
