Valery Panov was born on march 12, 1938 in the UdSSR, is a former Russian-Jewish ballet dancer and is now a choreographer. He has been an Israeli citizen since the 1970s. Valery and his second wife Galina Panov were important dancers for the development of the ballet. Valery Panov is an honorary citizen of New York City and San Francisco.
