He is primarily known for his work with glass, particularly his sandblasted glass sculptures and vases. Vallien has worked for decades with Kosta Boda, one of Sweden's most prestigious glassmakers, and is considered a master of glass art. His works, often inspired by existential and symbolic themes, include abstract shapes, glass boats and stylized human figures. He has exhibited his works around the world and has received numerous awards for his contribution to glass art. BRAND KOSTA BODA is one of the oldest and most renowned Swedish glass factories, founded in 1742 in Småland, Sweden.
