Late 19th Century Adjustable Chaise Lounge In Orange Fabric Known As The "Literary Machine" Manufactured By John Carter Of New Cavendish St London

An adjustable reading and lounging couch, bearing makers white enamel label. In good structural condition, with ample surface wear to wood, fabric in good condition with no tears or large marks.

Item is very well made and with wrought iron under carriage bearing substantial and sharp teeth.
Mattress is extremely comfortable.
