Oil modern landscape by well-known Danish-Swedish painter Viktor Rasmussen ( 1922-2004)

Viktor Rasmussen, born July 18, 1922 in Copenhagen, Denmark, died May 6, 2004 in Malmö, was a Danish-Swedish painter and graphic artist living in Copenhagen. Later he lived in Malmö until his death.

Rasmussen studied art in Copenhagen and at the Forum Painting School in Malmö, as well as on several study tours in Southern Europe. His art consists of still lifes, Swedish flora and landscapes in a colorful style. Rasmussen worked mainly with oil paintings and etchings. A recurring motif in Rasmussen's works was the traditional landscape of Skåne.
Rasmussen was one of the founders of De Fria Skånekonstnärnerna. Rasmussen is represented in the Modern Museum in Stockholm.
