Object: Standing secretary Epoch & style: Art Nouveau - beginning of the 20th century Features - elegant and practical furniture with a unique design language - elaborately designed with carvings, frames and profile strips - in beautiful original condition - veneered in oak, partly solid, interior veneered in walnut - In the upper area there is a small attached body with a brass-glazed door and faceted glasses - behind the door there is a removable shelf - to the right and left including two wide shelves - above it a curved crown with decorative strips and carved element - hinged writing surface with practical interior construction: :: above wide drawer :: open shelf in the middle with a small shelf :: below a total of five compartments in two sizes - under the writing surface three smooth-running and spacious drawers - original fittings and handles made of brass - lockable, key available - stands on feet typical of the era - the attachment can be removed for transport - good quality, durable, sustainable The furniture is in good condition with age-related signs of wear.
