This is a vintage wine coaster. An English, silver plate and walnut decorative bottle stand, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

Attractive coaster, ideal for resting a wine bottle.
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order.
Quality silver plate presents bright tones and a polished reflection.
Chased beading pattern to the flared rim, with circular medallion to the centre.
Warm biscuit hues to the walnut insert, with turned concentric detail.
Dressed to the base with a dark navy blue protective baize.

This is an appealing vintage wine coaster, with a quality polished finish and of useful size for a standard bottle. Ready for use.
