About This Piece

Vintage Design

Iconic floor lamp; its functional principle was first presented at the Milan Triennale in 1951. A very rare and important piece of modernism in excellent original condition. The system of brass tubes, which allows movement in any direction, was patented by Karl Hagenauer in 1951.

Reduced construction, cast base, brass tube, two black, perforated metal shades, mount also made of brass, painted white inside, pivotable into any number of positions and height-adjustable thanks to three joints on each arm.
