Vintage Design

A pair of amphora shaped vases in mercury gilded and polished bronze. Very small center vases, featuring a fluted body and two double-scroll handles, these antique bronze portapalme (the Italian name for this sort of vase) rest on a square base with feet. Inside an iron rod.

In good age related condition. Suitable as small lamp bases for bedsides or wall brackets. Italy, early 1800s.
