Vintage Grecian Style Table Lamp in Plaster with Cherub and Women

This is a beautiful very heavy plaster gold gilt Grecian Art Deco / Nouveau vintage table or desk lamp which is simply exquisite (includes lampshade). The lamp is dated from the Mid 20th Century and has an antique plaster figurine cast with two Grecian ladies holding a putti / cherub each side of the lamp.

Two semi-nude Grecian women sit with robes draped around them and they cradle with one hand a cute cherub / putti figure with vines of flowers wrapping around either side of the lamp. On one side the Cherub is playing a harmonica and the lady looks adorningly down. On the other side the little cherub is holding onto the arm of the lady. The two Grecian figures hold the top of the lamp up with their hands.

This is a wonderful gold gilt lamp that has lots of decorative detail and fauna decoration to them.

This lamp has been rewired and is in working order although we advise with all electrical goods that you should have the items tested before use by a qualified electrician.

Measurements: (approximate) 45 cm H including bulb holder 54 cm H including lampshade 34cm L x 25cm D

As with all vintage items this may show some characteristics signs of age and some imperfections but this only adds to the originality of the item.
