About This Piece

Vintage Design

A stunning Italian-made office or study desk dating back to the late 1950s or early 1960s. This piece perfectly embodies the modernist aesthetic and functional design of the Italian mid-century period.

Crafted from warm wood, this desk stands out for its versatility and intelligent design. On the left side, it features a practical folding extension/typewriter's desk, supported by a two-drawer wall-mounted chest of drawers with elegant, contrasting geometric handles. The interior of the drawers is finished in a light shade, creating a pleasing color contrast.

The structure rests on elegant portal legs connected by a central crosspiece, ensuring excellent stability and a slender, elegant profile. The back of the desk is finished, making it perfect for freestanding placement. A perfect piece of furniture to add an authentic touch of modernism to a contemporary office or home study area.

Condition:
The item is in good overall vintage condition. It shows normal and minor signs of age and use (such as small surface scratches or slight wear on the countertop, visible in the photos), which attest to its authenticity and enhance its vintage charm. Solid structure and smooth-running drawers.
