Vintage Design

Exceptional, very large mid century wall light /sconce / manufactured in France around 1960-1965 by Arlus, model Arles, featuring floating elements made out of thick murano glass and enameled wood, black enameled steel structure with bronze bars, the design is very reminiscent of Gio Ponti´s work.

Condition Details:
Very good overall condition, light wear to the bronze bars (one side of the bars shimmers a bit reddisher from the copper composition of the bronze), light wear to the knobs holding the glasses. Fully rewired.

4 candelabra size bulbs @ max 40 watts each (12 /e14) . Please note thate 2 lights are not connected together, this light was meant to beused with 2 outlet connections but cable could be used to join both lights.
