Stainless steel candleholder designed by Olav Joa for Polaris, Norway in 1970s. From the Steel Art series. Scandinavian design, Norway. Olav Joa's Polaris Steel Art selection is known for its cast steel with geometrical midcentury patterns. They consist of small production pieces and are of heavy quality steel designs.

Olav Joa (born 1942) worked for Figgjo as a designer and product development manager since 1983 and retired 2011. His products represents in Figgjo's range and he made the Polaris selection in 1972.
