About This Piece

Vintage Design

A vintage Scandinavian sideboard designed by Yngve Ekström in the late 1950s and produced by Dux in Sweden in the 1960s. Finished in honey-coloured teak with birch-lined. Sliding doors reveal two cabinets each with an adjustable shelf. Five equal drawers in the centre; the upper drawer is lined with green baize and has cutlery dividers.
Distinctive circular handles.

Original maker's stamps on the underside of the drawer fronts with the date: 14 Feb 61

Very good original vintage condition. Some slight faded marks on top. Lovely patina.
