Vintage Teak Sideboard with Drawer by Cees Braakman, 1960s

Vintage teak sideboard with curved wooden drawer from the 1960s. Dutch design with plenty of storage space, black metal handles and carefully restored. Cees Braakman comes to mind when seeing the curved back of the drawer and the black metal handles – both refer to Dutch mid-century design. The layout with three doors, an internal drawer and two shelves makes this sideboard particularly functional. The recently applied new top coat gives the furniture a fresh look, while retaining the character of the original teak veneer. The combination of plywood, teak veneer and metal, together with the clean lines, underlines the 1960s design. Thanks to its spacious width and calm appearance, the sideboard is ideal as storage furniture in the living room or study. Dimensions: h x w x d = 75 x 173 x 42 cm. Provenance: Dutch design, manufacturer unknown. The condition of this sideboard is very good thanks to complete restoration. The furniture is structurally stable, checked and ready for immediate use.
