Vintage Design

Sculptural rare primitive heart shaped stump chair made in solid wood. Hand carved by a Swedish cabinetmaker in the mid 20th century. A truely authentic unique red painted wabi sabi piece. The overall condition is good in this vintage object, with a fine patina. Some traces of wear. "Wabi-sabi is the view or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. It is about the aesthetic of things in existence, that are “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”. Wear consistent with age and use.
