Midcentury Italian Vittorio Dassi wood green marble credenza for Mobili Moderni. This sculptural and big sideboard features five doors, hand carved ebonized wood feet set on oval-shaped green alps marble brass bordered base. On the top is present a recent black crystal to protect and make a shiny elegant effect. This credenza is divided into three parts, the right part is organized with shelves. On the left hand there is shelf and three drawers, while in the centre there are a series of drawers. The external doors are curved to give the sideboard a more elegant style. On the key you can find the name of the Dassi Company: Dassi Mobili Moderni (which means modern furniture). We have restored it in a conservative way to preserve the original patina of this precious piece, while keeping its original hardware. This piece with its dimension and great quality can be se in different areas: from a big foyer to a living room, from a kitchen to a dining room. Vittorio Dassi was a talented Italian designer contemporary of Ico Parisi and Gio Ponti. The Dassi Company started operating in 1920s in Italy and during the following years it confirmed its high quality production becoming always more appreciated.
