The weaving technique makes the Sumakh easily recognizable because on the front; they have a smooth and sackable surface; on the back, there are countless polychrome wires left pendulous or passed from an area to another of the carpet. The Sumakh technique is based on the winding of warp threads instead of arguing. Unusual and imposing, our specimen's decoration is characterized by four large star-connected striped medallions along the median carpet axis, lying on a blue night background. The other characterizing element of this sumakh is the ancient Horn decor that surrounds the four medallions. Sheep and Aries have always been a source of livelihood for nomadic and tribal populations. Aries' horns symbolize strength, power and fertility, suggesting that life itself is not temporary but eternal. To strengthen this theme is the final border with the perpetual reason for "dog that runs" or "current dog".
