Vintage Design

Exclusive ‘Pointe de Diamant’ Sideboard in very good condition. Designed by Antoine Philippon and Jacqueline Lecoq in France 1962. This sideboard was produced in 1964. Manufactured by Behr, Germany The sideboard has four diamond shaped doors which are equipped with beautiful designed chrome hinges which are also used on other designs of the couple. The doors are made from plywood and are veneered with a mahogany veneer which has a beautiful dark colour and a very nice grain. The exterior of the corpus is also veneered with a mahogany veneer, the inside is veneered in a light maple which gives a very nice contrast. Behind the doors you can find a large storage area with two drawers on the right side. The slender chromed metal frame works very light and gives the sideboard a floating effect. Original Behr label on the back of the right door and a paper label with date on the back.
