This original pair of Djinn chairs and stool have the old blue fabric on, but the frames and foam all seem to be perfect for recovering, and with the zip on covers being there to use as templates for new ones, it shouldn't be too much of a job for an upholsterer. They are perfectly useable as they are and for some collectors they are perfect, as they are in their original state,
As you can see from the photos the moths look like they enjoy the taste of this fabric
We have seen a single chair recovered in Boucle for more than the price of this entire set , alternatively find your own red fabric and remake the 2001 Space Odyssey set in your living room.
