Vintage Design

This étagère comes from an old French butcher's shop in the late 1800s; it is made of wrought iron with marble shelves. The ivory-colored patina is the original one; the conservative restoration was based on a simple cleaning aimed at removing oxidation followed by an anti-rust treatment and subsequent waxing.
At the top the hooks were used to hang meats that were also displayed on marble shelves.
It can be used as a display in a clothing store as well as a grocery store, etc., as a planter in a living room, to display particular collections, or as an original bookcase with side bookends.
