Vintage Design

Couple of French table lamps or desktop representing two sphinxes of Greek/Roman mythology with a woman's face, lion body, French empire style and Art Déco Circa 1920. In ancient Greece and in the Roman Empire the sphin Mitified as treacherous and ruthless, capable of killing and eating those who were not able to respond to their riddle. This couple of lamps are two very rare pieces to see, with the charm of their silhouette and the nobility of the solid golden bronze with which they are made.
For a bulb E27 each piece. Original electrification reviewed and updated. Screens not included. Measures without screen.
