A unique mid century sculptural burr elm coffee table By Jack Grimble. Inscribed signature along with a label: "Burr Elm taken from hollow 300 years old. 1965."

Jack Grimble of Cromer worked on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, and developed his style after careful study of medieval English furniture techniques, construction and materials.

The table is in very good condition, showing some light marks with age. The elm shows superb grain with a live edge and a lovely mellow colour. Standing on five splayed chamfered oak legs, the table is sturdy with no loose joints and has no damage.
