About This Piece

Vintage Design

Mid-century, vintage, Scandinavian-style wall unit, circa 1960's.

Piece is made of solid oak, with a golden-oak colored veneered finish.

The unit has 2 compartments: the upper space has a brass frame with a patina of time (see photos.) The lower space, has a storage compartment with 2 doors that open and close perfectly and come with their original, black, Bakelite handles (see photos.)

Both compartments have an adjustable shelf measuring W: 89 x D: 29 cm.

The piece rests on 4, long, black metal legs, that come with their original, adjustable leg screws (see photos.)

The wall unit is in overall, good, original and vintage condition, with some light marks and signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, on the overall structure, metal legs, doors, shelves and sides, and has a nice patina of time (see photos.)

Please note: On the top of the lower storage compartment, on the rear, right hand side, there is an old repair of the veneer finish. In the middle, an old small mark of usage, and on left, rear side behind the black metal, there's a tiny lack of veneer (see photos with a 1 centime coin for perspective.)

Piece is solid, sturdy and stable. It has only been gently cleaned with respect to the original patina and the legs have been waxed.
