Impossible to find an angle, there isn't one! These armchairs were designed to withstand children's games and endure adult parties by proudly displaying their sculptural line.

Brutalist, organic with a touch of anthroposophism, the Daumiller armchairs in solid pine are a clever mix of poetry and pragmatism. Their generous and rounded design could bring them into a dreamlike interior straight out of Tolkien's universe.

Nevertheless, if their voluptuous shape contrasts with a certain ultra-minimalist "modern" design, these armchairs, at the forefront in the 70s, are a fine example of sustainability today because their structure comes from Scandinavian forests and their design firstly designed to last.

No need for padding, the sculpted seat perfectly matches the shape of the body to guarantee lasting comfort!

Concerning their creator, Rainer Daumiller, he first apprenticed as a cabinetmaker and then multiplied his experiences in design, notably joining the "Kunstværkerhåndskolen" or the "Designskolen" in Denmark in 1960. The influence of philosophy by Rudolf Steiner left an imprint in his work since he cultivated his love of wood and manual work with an instinctive approach during the creative process.

Its armchairs were manufactured in the north of Denmark in Hirtshals for more than 25 years, today the Gubi company is reissuing them.
