Wonderful Soft Pad Chair EA 219 by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. It is the model version in black leather (Nero). The back is covered with the plano fabric, also in black (Nero). The side profiles, armrests, clamping brackets and the base are made of chrome-plated aluminum die cast.

The Soft Pad Chair is height -adjustable, rotatable and has a tilting mechanics. It is in an exceptionally good condition with minimal old -age signs that you can see from the extensive product images. The seat and backrest in particular are in a fabulous state. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and has a test of manufacturers from Vitra and hard floor rolls. The gas pressure spring is intact.

The Soft Pad Chairs were designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969 and are considered one of the most important design designs of the 20th century. They resemble the aluminum chairs in construction and shape, but are softer and lush and adapt to the body. The chair is ideal as an office chair for representative offices or the stylish home office.
