When the Dutch "Gelderland" is looking for a connection with the modern furniture market in the early 1960s, according to tradition, the young designer Rob Parry decides to contact him, he is also known from the red letterbox in the Dutch street image for years can be found. This specific copy, from the first owner has been cherished in all those years, the iron frame is still very beautiful in condition, the wood completely original.

The upholstery including pillows and construction has been completely renewed in 2023 and looks more beautiful than she ever was. The very best foam, the most beautiful fabric, and the best stockworkers with experience with a specific model, have made this armchair into a true art object. The following fabric has been used: the fabric is Keymer Jump Color number 16. Jump is a fire -retardant and dirt -repellent furniture fabric. The combination of striking colors and beautiful patterns provides a contemporary look. You amplify over the design, craftsmanship and the fine comfort. Today, the "Lotus" worldwide is a respected design icon and an absolute highlight in Mid Century Design, still today variants are still produced.
