These armchairs are in original vintage condition, sturdy, solid.

Ideal for an upholstery project in order to give them a fresh look as the this original upholstery would need some looking after alternatively.

József Peresztegi, a well-known Hungarian bauhaus furniture designer between the two world wars, and the II. became one of the defining figures of the post-World War II period. He is a founding member of the Wood Industry Manufacturing Design and Editing Office, established in 1951, which was the main venue for furniture design in the ’50s.
