Glass globe by Columbus Oestergaard on tripod base.
The graduator is from eloxed aluminum, the base in brass with a polished surface.
Hand-laminated map on crystal glass sphere.
In the unlit state, the political map image of the 1960s is visible. When the globe is illuminated, the topographic map image emerges. Mountain ranges, lowlands, jungles and oceanic massifs are clearly visible.
