A Real Statement Piece and Super Cool, We are pleased to offer this Large Original Mid 20th Century Stacking Gym Bench or Vaulting Box, with Suede Leather Top by Danish Designer Niels Larsen.

On one end, the numbers 1 – 6 are stencilled on each of the section, which stack on each other. The height is therefore adjustable to suit your needs!
It is made of pine and sits on four rolling castors, making it easy to move around. As shown in the photographs, there is a pedal brake to lock the wheels in place.

The suede has a wonderful worn colour and patina and would look good in either a home or commercial setting… or even back in a gymnasium!

‘Niels Larsen was founded in København, Denmark in 1893 as a designer and manufacturer of gymnastic and rehabilitation equipment. A subsidiary was later established in Leeds in 1907 bringing innovative designs into the UK market. Niels Larsen can justly claim therefore, to be the 'founding father' of British gymnastics apparatus.’
